After reading and evaluating two books for our Mock Caldecott unit, students added to a thank you card for Stick Dog author Tom Watson.   This week K-2nd grade students accessed the BookFlix website, which is now free for all Michigan residents! The site pairs fiction and nonfiction books based on similar topics. Students can watch, listen, and read along with each book.   Which is you favorite Mock Caldecott book we've read so far? Why? What is your least favorite? Why?
Open a Word document and write your thoughts. Please print and turn in before moving on to the next activity. When you finish, you may visit TumbleBooks or BookFlix. Both are on the Information Place website. |
